having trouble flashing firmware to one spike prime #2879
|
i'm having trouble flashing firmware onto one spike prime hub. i have already flashed firmware (last year) to a class set of hubs and updated a few hubs with this new firmware. but i have one stubborn one that won't update. in the 'option 1 quick update' the hub is found but disappear without flashing firmware. in 'option 2 manual update' the windows machine discovers the hub in DFU mode but it doens't pop up in the pybricks connection menu. anyone having this problem? |

Hi Sam - nice to see you here! What is currently on that one hub? An old version of Pybricks, or the LEGO firmware? If Pybricks, can you connect with Bluetooth? What version does it say in the info view if you click on the battery icon?
Once found, does it give you version information? And when you start the update, what happens to the hub? Does it begin blinking purple? |

i can't connect to it in pybricks so i can't get any information.

Got it. Yes, that would be (an old) LEGO version. So you could update there first if you like.
Doing so will let you skip manual mode in Pybricks. As an alternative, you can do the manual update on someone's Mac or Android, which doesn't require that Windows configuration.
