Orion Code v0.3.22 — Agent Reliability & Efficiency

Fixed

  • ToolGateway in-flight request identity (T22-01): the in-flight dedupe map now
    compares the full createIntent() request digest. The same invocationId with
    different arguments, tool, StepSnapshot, or parent rejects with
    ORION_TOOL_INVOCATION_CONFLICT before any second side effect instead of silently
    reusing the running execution's promise.

Added

  • Durability fault-injection matrix (T22-02): ten scenarios across the seven
    persistence boundaries (turn start / step snapshot / tool intent / tool receipt /
    turn commit / turn terminal / compaction pointer) prove: a flushed event survives a
    projection-publication crash; an intent without a receipt replays as
    ORION_TOOL_OUTCOME_INDETERMINATE across processes without re-running the side
    effect; cancelled and failed turns are never re-projected as completed; two sessions
    adopt the durable log monotonically without borrowing identity.
  • Coding-task evaluation harness (T22-04): scripts/bench/coding-task-eval.ts with
    12 machine-verified task fixtures (read/search, single-file edit, multi-file
    refactor, fix-failing-test, add-feature, multi-turn goals, compaction continuation,
    concurrent sessions, provider-429 recovery, permission denial, user cancellation,
    tool-failure recovery). Deterministic fake-provider baseline committed:
    12/12 solved, zero false completions.
  • Release-verification evidence (T22-03): four-state (pass/fail/not_run/blocked)
    gate recording under docs/plan/evidence/v0.3.22/ with
    source↔artifact SHA traceability.
