Installation

Windows

  1. Download DataForeman-Setup-v0.5.1.exe
  2. Run the installer (requires Administrator privileges)
  3. Follow the installation wizard
  4. Start DataForeman from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut

Requirements:

  • Docker Desktop for Windows
  • Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
  • 8GB RAM minimum (16GB recommended)

Linux (Docker)

  1. Download and extract source code
  2. Run:
git clone https://github.com/orionK-max/DataForeman.git
cd DataForeman
git checkout v0.5.1
cp .env.example .env
npm run start:rebuild

Updating from Previous Version

Windows

  • Simply run the new installer - your data will be preserved automatically
  • Or use: .\windows-installer\update.ps1 -Version v0.5.1

Linux

docker-compose down
git fetch --tags
git checkout v0.5.1
npm run start:rebuild

Note: Your databases and configurations are preserved during updates.
