Why is the site artifact so big

This site artifact is 1.3Gb - this seems like far too much. Investigate and remove anything that shouldn't be there.

25Mb images - we never display them that large, with a 960 pixel maximum width anyway.

This is likely to be related to fetch_image in src/fetch_image.js. Does removing 1200 from this reduce the size?

• Create a PR modifying the widths list in fetch_image.js, and verify the size of the _site tarball this creates and if it's significantly smaller than the current 1.3tb.
• Pick some recent blog posts, and check that their images still work with a couple of screenshots in the PR showing them in place.
• Respond with furhter plain text comments if there's a more effective strategy to manage the size of images in this tarball.
