Keiko 0.3.13 (v0.3.13)
Keiko 0.3.13
Keiko's first public download release. Pick your platform below, unzip, and start it —
Node.js and the OpenCode sidecar are already inside; nothing else has to be installed.
Unsigned evaluation build (ADR-0121 D1, ADR-0163 D9). The bundles are sealed, so macOS
will not report a damaged app, but they carry no Apple Developer ID, no notarization and no
Windows trusted publisher yet. That is why the first launch needs the one extra confirmation
described below. Every integrity digest, containment and provenance check stays enforced.
What changed
Keiko 0.3.13 Release Notes
High · Fixes
- A model's role now comes from the gateway's own declaration (LiteLLM /model/info mode) rather than from its name. A declared reranking, speech, image-generation or moderation engine can no longer be stored as an embedding model because its id happens to contain a token like "bge" or "e5"; the name heuristic applies only where a gateway declares nothing.
- Models Keiko will not configure are now reported with the declared reason in the setup dialog instead of vanishing without a trace, and they no longer consume slots in the discovery limit — a gateway listing many speech or reranking endpoints can no longer push real chat models out of the configured set.
- Every declared embedding model is verified with one real embedding request during setup. A model that cannot answer is not stored as an embedding model; a model whose role you asserted explicitly, or that was already stored, is kept and flagged as unverified so a brief endpoint outage cannot unpin working Knowledge Pods.
- Gateways whose /model/info route is unavailable, restricted or rate-limited continue to set up exactly as before by falling back to the plain model list; only a response in which every model declares a mode Keiko cannot use is surfaced as an error.
