Update recovery uses the active packaged installation across launcher, UI, support, repair, audit, uninstall and portable commands instead of trusting stale inherited paths.
Audit remains read-only for the selected state tree, and uninstall validates package scripts before stopping the UI, killing processes, removing launchers or changing state.
Homebrew launches verify the shared Cellar parent and the complete executable ancestry, then execute a private snapshot copied from a no-follow, revalidated file descriptor.
Model actions remain available while Settings refreshes the model catalog in the background.
Stable publication verifies exact npm version visibility and dist-tag convergence with bounded retries and hard network timeouts; registry uncertainty fails closed.
