Keiko 1.1.8 Release Notes
High · Fixes
- Coding History: each question is stored once, and history written by 1.1.x shows each question once.
- Commits and verification: the refusal names candidate-not-staged or buffers-dirty with the matching next step, so the model no longer loops between verifying and proposing.
- Approvals: a denied, expired or cancelled decision is shown and logged as that decision, and a change whose base digest is already stale is refused before the approval card appears.
- Run start: a model whose context window cannot hold a coding run (at least 32,000 tokens) is refused at once with that reason, or while Keiko still verifies its window, instead of failing after two minutes without one.
- Gateway: an empty model answer is reported as empty-answer and a malformed tool call as invalid-tool-call; neither opens the circuit breaker, and every failed turn is shown in the transcript and logged with its cause.
- Tool calls: a refusal of the model's own request (a stale base, a denied or missing path, an unsaved buffer, a busy editor) settles as that verdict and no longer opens a local support incident.
- Workbench: it follows the header's repository, states the deployment ceiling when a mode does not apply, and shows the singular file count, scope and policy reason, and the activity after Stop correctly.
Normal · New Additions
- Keiko now ships first-class portable downloads for Windows x64, macOS arm64, and macOS x64 so users can download once and start from the bundled launcher; npm remains available for developer and compatibility workflows.
