• Download Keiko for Windows x64, Linux x64, macOS arm64, and macOS x64 and start from the bundled launcher; npm remains available for developer and compatibility workflows.

• Chat skills: upload a Markdown file, preview it and select it for the current chat. The Composer shows the active skill; deselection, version replacement, private download and deletion remain explicit.
• Protected context: the complete selected skill counts toward the context meter and remains unchanged when conversation history is compacted. An unavailable revision or a skill that cannot fit stops the turn with a correction path instead of silently dropping its instructions.
• Skill authoring: prepare a Markdown draft from a complete document or pasted text using the selected gateway model, review and edit it, then explicitly save or download it. A repository is not required.
• Privacy: skills are stored locally and require the authenticated application session. They do not grant tool, file or network authority, and their contents are excluded from activity logs and support evidence.
