Keiko 1.2.3 Release Notes
High · Fixes
- Dictation: compatible browser recordings are normalized to mono PCM16 WAV for Whisper through LiteLLM. One microphone control starts and stops recording, a subtle waveform shows input, and the transcript goes directly into the editable draft without automatically sending.
- Private skills: the library refreshes when the normal launcher session becomes available. Deleted selected revisions stop a turn with a correction path. Drafting guidance covers concrete applicability, numbered steps and bounded validation loops; generated drafts still require human review. Source references must match the actual document, and fenced examples cannot impersonate required sections.
- Chat recovery: unsent drafts survive reload and restart, simultaneous edits require an explicit choice, and proven failed sends preserve the unchanged draft without automatically replaying it.
- Context and layout: manual compaction completes in one pass and stays disabled until new messages bring conversation usage back to at least 50%. Automatic compaction remains at 90%. The context meter prioritizes metrics and keeps concise explanations collapsed until requested. Compaction recovery retains complementary relevant sections, while maximized Chat windows fit each tab so the composer remains reachable.
Normal · Update Notes
- Download Keiko for Windows x64, Linux x64, macOS arm64, and macOS x64 and start from the bundled launcher; npm remains available for developer and compatibility workflows.
