Keiko 1.3.0 Release Notes

High · New Additions

  • On macOS the Coding Workbench runs the original OpenCode 2.1.4 engine with its own tools, agents and project configuration. Keiko's three modes, the Authority Envelope and the Model Gateway still decide what a run may do and which model it reaches.
  • The Workbench offers plan or build mode, undo of the latest turn, queued follow-up messages, image input, file references, and formulas and diagrams in the task timeline.
  • A finished task can be continued or forked, exported locally as JSON or Markdown, and a saved task or OpenCode transcript can be imported into Coding History. Imported text is redacted again before it is stored.
  • Without a network, web lookups, remote skills, research fetches and package installs end with a bounded, clear failure instead of waiting.
  • The Workbench shows the installed coding runtime version and the latest Keiko release.
  • macOS npm installations install the coding runtime packages 1.1.4, which carry OpenCode 2.1.4. Linux keeps Keiko's mapped coding tools, and Windows Coding execution remains unavailable.
  • Tasks and Coding History carry over unchanged. The first run of an earlier task after the update starts a fresh engine session with that task's history as context.
  • Published 1.2.6 and earlier installations still need the verified updater bootstrap before automatic updates. The installed upgrade demonstration from 1.2.x and the fresh npm and Yarn installation qualification are recorded separately and are not claimed by this release.
