v1.4.3-rc.1
Pre-release1.4.3-rc.1 (2026-09-12)
Summary
This release makes delegated workflow execution independent of native plan documents and hardens recovery authority. Requirements can now come from a native spec/plan package, a provided plan reference, or the current conversation through one common execution contract, with generic registration and checkpoints exposed through work_item_open and work_checkpoint actions such as start, review, bind, complete, and amend, so a small request no longer needs spec/plan files or a multi-stage ceremony. Required reviews are exactly those declared by the source, the user, or an explicit controller decision, with a no-review result honestly reported as controller-accepted rather than independently reviewed, and assigned reviewers are enforced mechanically against the current revision. A bounded advance authority with a shared three-unit reserve lets an explicit user instruction fund a finite continuation after ordinary allowances are exhausted, without weakening post-stop validation, refilling on replay, or turning authority into acceptance or a passing review. The release also fixes a generic-review resume wedge by giving each checkpoint generation a fresh identity, settles reviewer NEEDS_CONTEXT as a cost-free recoverable stop, validates and reserves advance units before mutating state, binds authority recovery to the owning execution, rejects asserted reviewer statuses, and adds a whole-store fingerprint guard so staged transactions never publish over concurrent live mutations. Workflow state now persists at snapshot version 4, preserving v1/v2/v3 recovery and rejected-report history, while documentation and instructions scope source-independent execution claims to the implemented surface. Runtime plugin upgrades still require an OpenCode restart.
