Some running notes about some administrative infra we probably need:

  • Domain registrations
  • basic email presence (Does this imply gsuite as an easy option?)
  • 1password for shared things
  • gpg signing key for releases

Hey for domain registration transfers, who currently owns the domain? FB via dnssimple? When you're ready email Mike Dolan mdolan@linuxfoundation.org to do the domain transfer

for email, we could setup a groups.io setup, like https://lists.cncf.io or a gsuite if preferred

for sharing things, lastpass or keybase or 1password could work, you decide what works best

for gpg, https://keybase.io or old school key signing party ;)

Just let me know how I can help from an LF side as I believe Michael Dolan from the LF is the acting . program manager currently to help support the project.

@caniszczyk thanks for the tips!

I'm interested in exploring the groups.io option. For now we only need some aliases (e.g., osquery at osquery[.]io) that auto-forward to the TSC. I think having personal aliases (each person on the TSC at osquery[.]io) is not needed.

Is this something groups.io can support? gsuite does not provide a free option so it feels like overkill.

In today's office hours, it sounded like ew all have some familiarity with gsuite, and that it provides useful resources in gcloud.

@groob proposed we use gsuite, initially funded by dues to the TSC members. It seemed like we had general agreement for that. Votes?

A quick update on what's happened here.

@theopolis setup a gsuite account, this is a simple enough way for us to start with various things.

@zwass started, and I picked up, working with the linux foundation to setup communitybridge to hold fundraising (see #15)

We have a shared 1password account
