Release v1.8.3: Performance Tweaks & Bug Fixes 🛠️

This update focuses on improving the stability of the Frame Generation pipeline, reducing resource consumption, and addressing community-reported bugs regarding multi-monitor setups and hotkey configurations.

🚀 What's New & Improved

  • Optimized VRAM Usage: Refined the memory allocation for the LSFG (Frame Generation) algorithm, reducing overall VRAM footprint by ~5-7% during heavy loads.
  • Enhanced Capture API: Improved fallback logic for DXGI Desktop Duplication. Games that previously showed a black screen when scaling from borderless windowed mode should now hook correctly.
  • Algorithm Updates: Minor updates to Anime4K shaders to improve edge detection and reduce artifacting on 1080p anime-style games.
  • UI Responsiveness: Reduced the delay when toggling scaling options in the main application window.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Multi-Monitor Crash: Fixed a critical issue where the application would crash or scale on the wrong display when moving the game window between primary and secondary monitors.
  • Hotkey Persistence: Resolved a bug where custom hotkeys (Ctrl + Alt + S alternatives) would reset to default after completely restarting the app.
  • NIS Ghosting: Fixed slight visual artifacting (trailing ghosting) when using NVIDIA Image Scaling on high-contrast, fast-moving UI elements.
