Fonts on OpenStreetMap are too small

Hello,

the fonts on the OpenStreetMap are so small that they are practically illegible.

I've long thought it was a feature of OpenStreetMap, but I did explore Organic Maps
with their nice big fonts. They ever have settings option to make a font bigger.

Can you make fonts bigger, please?

Owntracks OSS, different versions, phones from Nokia, Motorola, Xiaomi, Android 10, 11.

If I call setTilesScaledToDpi(true), I get this. Seems better?

It's not as good as the other example you have, but I wonder if that's the Mapnik tiles being rendered how they are. The Wikimedia tiles are a lot more readable on the same settings:

I sort of see what you mean. I'll do some research and see if I can make it better.

I've also added a new setting (accessible in the config editor) called osmTileScaleFactor that should let you tweak the scaling of the map tiles. 1.0 means "default", larger values is zoomed in, smaller is out. Let me know if that helps.
