Prompts queued behind a busy session go in together
While a session is busy, session_send still queues and answers queued at once. When the session is next free, aidc pastes every waiting prompt as one message, in the order they were sent, separated by " [next message] ". The person's prompts and the agent's go in the same batch.
Take back one waiting prompt
session_sendnow returns a stableprompt_id, whether the prompt was queued or sent at once. It survives anaidc-mcprestart.session_queue_cancel(name, prompt_id=...)cancels that prompt only. It answers one of:cancelled;already_pasted: too late, including a batch in the input box waiting for its Enter;unknown.
- A prompt is either in the pasted batch or cancelled, never both, and that still holds across a restart.
- Cancelling by
positionstill works.
The reply names what it answers
The reply callback carries two new fields:
prompts: each prompt'sprompt_id,sent_byandconversation_id, in paste order;pasted_at: when their batch was pasted.
A prompt joined into a running turn is named by that turn's reply. session_status lists each waiting prompt's prompt_id.
Upgrading
- This release changes
aidc-mcponly. Update and restart it; existing sessions need no kill or create. - Before downgrading, drain or cancel the send queues. An older
aidc-mcpwould treat a batch already in an input box as still waiting, and could paste it twice.
