A security patch release on 0.71.3. It changes nothing except the dependency fix below and the version number.

Security

  • rustls 0.23.45 → 0.23.46, fixing RUSTSEC-2026-0346, RUSTSEC-2026-0347, RUSTSEC-2026-0348 and RUSTSEC-2026-0349. These advisories were published after v0.71.3 was cut, and the prebuilt v0.71.3 binaries were built with the affected version.
  • aprender-data builds aws-sdk-s3 with default-features = false, so the legacy rustls 0.21 stack is no longer in Cargo.lock.
