Is it possible to add png support, adding a jpeg image will cause a corruption error hen viewed in adobe reader

Will very much appreciate PNG support. Any ideas when this will be done? Any pointers on how other devs can contribute towards this?

I tried to convert an Amcharts SVG to JPG instead of PNG, but it does not 'get' the image size.
I think it would better use the PNG format to add it to a jsPDF document, maybe.

The current addImage() function works pretty well adding JPEG images (either raw bytes, a data uri, or an 'img' node), and the only reason i can think of atm for adding PNG is transparency.

For those of you who recently replied here, please open a new issue if what you want is transparency, we're atm purging the issues queue due the new version released.
