What Changed since Last Release
A diagnostics release. Nothing about how the app looks or works has changed — this is here so that the next "the map is stale" or "my tag does not show up" report can be read out of the log instead of guessed at. If you are working through one of those with us, install this over the top (do not uninstall first, which wipes the very state we need) and send the log from the new build.
- The log now says which kind of failed fetch happened. A fetch that Apple's reports endpoint refused while the account itself was fine is now recorded as that, separately from a session check that was skipped. Both used to leave the same empty line, and they need opposite answers.
- The log now records the age of the newest report a fetch returned. "Apple genuinely holds nothing newer" and "the app fetched something stale" looked identical; now one is a timestamp and the other is not.
- Restoring a saved sign-in now logs when it starts and when it returns, so a restore that is sitting inside the account machinery rather than failing is visible as that rather than as nothing happening.
