  • Add check_range(measured, minimum, maximum) with inclusive bounds, measurement accessors,
    and separate errors for inverted bounds and values outside a valid range. It uses u64 to
    accept Duration::as_secs() on every target, including seconds above the 32-bit usize limit.
    Existing length and count helpers keep usize.
