The Windows icon script fails where the fault is, rather than a minute later somewhere else. Off
macOS it cannot run (the resize step is Apple's sips), and it used to announce a skip and exit 0. The
committed .ico set is what makes that safe, so it now checks the set is actually there: quiet when it
is, and a failure naming the missing files and the command that rebuilds them when it is not. Nothing
was broken; this keeps it that way. Reported from the Storylet Studio side, where the same blind skip
surfaced an hour later as electron-builder failing on a file nobody had mentioned.

Conditions that can never hold are reported as you type. A snippet asking for @connected && !@seen
where the only writer of @connected is itself gated on @seen is dead on the page, and no amount of
playtesting explains why. The Problems panel now names the chain. It reasons only about one-way switches
(a boolean only ever set true, a flag only ever +set) and drops any value written another way, driven
by the game, reseeded by temporary or already true by default, because a wrong "this can never happen"
is worse than silence. A warning, never an error: writing that bit next week is normal.
Coverage explains a dead beat that is dead at one remove. A beat gated on a value the story does
set, but only from a beat that never played either, used to read as perfectly wired: two dead beats,
one cause, and nothing joining them. The row now names the gate and links the writer that would have
to play first. A gate on a single flag is named as that flag rather than the whole property, since a
property half the story writes always looks well fed. Where it cannot be sure, it says nothing.
Fixed
A flags property with more than a handful of values no longer runs off the popover. Choosing a
flags property in the effects editor drew its flags as one non-wrapping row of sign x flag, which grew
as wide as the author's data and ran past the popover and on across the window. The picker now uses the
set/clear toggle over one column that the package's other two flag pickers already used, so all three
behave alike. A popover too long to fit below its anchor also flips to the roomier side and scrolls
inside a max-height, rather than sitting below with its tail off the bottom of the window. Both fixes
are @wildwinter/expr-editor@0.15.1, adopted here; reported and fixed on the Storylet Studio side.
Three file dialogs said nothing on macOS. macOS open panels ignore title, so Publish for Web,
Import localisation and Import a Hunspell dictionary rendered a bare file browser with a button reading
"Open" and no sentence anywhere. Each now carries the message and buttonLabel that macOS does show,
which five of the eight open dialogs already had. A source scan holds the convention from now on.
