Bug fixes for the keyboard sleep timer and lighting.

Fixed

  • Sleep timer now applies right away. Changing the delay and pressing Apply had no effect until you switched the toggle off and on again.
  • The backlight no longer wakes up from the mouse. With a software effect running, moving the mouse or clicking kept the keyboard lit and woke it back up. It now goes to sleep and wakes on key presses only, the same way the built-in timer behaves.
  • Your colour comes back when you quit. Closing the app while a software effect was running used to leave the keyboard on a random colour or dimmed mid-fade. It now returns to the colour and brightness you picked.

Update

Download ControlCenter-1.0.1-win64-setup.exe and run it. It replaces 1.0.0 and keeps your settings.

Control Center v1.0.0

An open-source replacement for Clevo's Control Center: fans, keyboard backlight and power profiles in one Windows 11 style window.

Works on Clevo-based laptops, including Schenker/XMG, Eluktronics, Tuxedo, Sager, Machenike, Hasee, Mechrevo, Monster, Metabox, PC Specialist and other rebrands.

Download

ControlCenter-1.0.0-win64-setup.exe: run it and follow the wizard. Nothing else to install.

What it can do

  • Power profiles: Silent, Power Saver, Entertainment, Full Performance, also switchable from the tray.
  • Fans: live RPM and temperatures, Automatic / Maximum / MaxQ modes, custom fan curves you drag with the mouse, speed boost and dust cleaning.
  • Keyboard: any colour, brightness, 10 lighting effects and a sleep timer that smoothly dims the backlight when you step away.
  • Remembers your lighting and can start with Windows, quietly in the tray.
  • Clean Windows 11 look with acrylic blur and Snap Layouts.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
  • A Clevo-based laptop with its original drivers installed. If Clevo Control Center worked on it, this will too.

Good to know

  • Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Click More info → Run anyway.
  • Closing the window keeps the app running in the tray. Quit from the tray menu.
  • On Windows 10 the window looks slightly simpler (square corners).
