Choose a tag to compare

@peerloomllc peerloomllc released this 28 Oct 20:26

What's Changed

Bug Fixes

  • Long notes on an item now cut off neatly with "..." instead of running off the edge of the screen in lists with sections or aisles.

v1.1.17

Choose a tag to compare

@peerloomllc peerloomllc released this 27 Oct 15:18

What's Changed

✨ New Features

  • Group by reminder. Sort a list into Today, This week, This month, Later and No reminder, so you can see what's coming up. Overdue items show under Today. It's a per-list setting, and each device keeps its own.
  • Clear checked items in one tap. When you finish a list, the "All done" screen now lets you delete just the checked items and keep the list.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Pop-up notices no longer cover the Spaces menu at the top of the screen.

v1.1.16

Choose a tag to compare

@peerloomllc peerloomllc released this 26 Oct 16:39

What's Changed

New Features

  • You can now skip the "How many?" question when adding groceries. Turn off "Ask how many" in Settings > Lists & aisles and items go straight onto your list as one. You can still tap an item later to change the number.

v1.1.15

Choose a tag to compare

@peerloomllc peerloomllc released this 19 Oct 20:10

What's Changed

New Features

  • Clear out checked items in one tap. Open a list's menu and choose "Delete checked items" to remove everything that's been ticked off. Checked items still stay on the list until you clear them, so everyone can see what's done.

Improvements

  • Closing sheets is easier. Swipe any pop-up sheet down to close it, or tap the new X in its top corner.

Bug Fixes

  • On newer Android phones, the keyboard no longer covers the box you're typing in.
  • Fixed a rare problem that could stop the app from working properly after it saved your changes.

v1.1.14

What's Changed

🔧 Other

  • Fall back to the relay after every kind of failed punch

v1.1.13

Choose a tag to compare

@peerloomllc peerloomllc released this 14 Oct 19:54

What's Changed

New Features

  • Back up your lists to a PeerLoom Seeder. Pair the app with a seeder you run, such as a home server, and it keeps a copy of your shared spaces. Your household's lists then stay in sync even when the other phones are off or asleep. Go to Settings > Connection > Seeder and scan the seeder's QR code or paste its link. If you don't have a seeder yet, there's a link to get PeerLoom Seeder.
  • See every seeder in one place. The Seeder section lists the seeders you paired on this phone and the ones other members of your household use.

Improvements

  • Stopping a seeder is quick and clear. "Stop using" finishes right away, even when the seeder is offline. It also tells you which spaces another member still backs up to that seeder.
  • Backups work from more networks. The app can now reach your seeder on networks that would otherwise block a direct connection.
  • Leaner app. The app now carries one copy of each of its sync parts instead of two.

v1.1.12

@peerloomllc peerloomllc released this 01 Oct 17:48

What's Changed

Bug Fixes

  • Repeating reminders now repeat. If you set a reminder on an item that repeats every day, week or month, it used to go off only once. After that the item said "That time has already passed" and stayed quiet. Now the reminder goes off every time the item comes back, at the same time you picked. Reminders you already set start working again on their own, so there is nothing to redo.

  • Checking off a chore early skips that day's reminder, and only that one. Finish tonight's chore before its reminder and tonight stays quiet. Tomorrow's reminder still goes off as usual.

  • Reminders keep coming even if you don't open the app. PearList now sets up about a week of reminders in advance, so a daily reminder doesn't stop because the app stayed closed for a few days.

  • The app no longer closes right after you open it on iOS 27.

v1.0.11

Choose a tag to compare

@peerloomllc peerloomllc released this 23 Sep 17:23

What's Changed

New Features

  • Add a photo to any item. Tap the camera square next to an item's name to take a photo or choose one you already have. It's
    handy for showing exactly which brand to buy, especially when the label is in a language you don't read. Everyone in the space
    sees it, as a small picture in the list, and can open it full screen and zoom in to read the label.

  • Photos are there when you're in the shop. Each phone keeps its own copy, so the photo is on your phone even if the phone
    that took it is switched off or out of range.

  • Photos don't fill up your phone. When an item or list is deleted, or you leave a space, its photos are removed from every
    phone. You can see how much space photos use in Settings, under Lists & aisles.

Bug Fixes

  • Picking a profile picture no longer fails if you take your time. If you spent more than about 20 seconds choosing a picture,
    PearList could reload and lose it. It now waits for you.

v1.0.10

Choose a tag to compare

@peerloomllc peerloomllc released this 10 Sep 18:19

What's Changed

Bug Fixes

  • PearList would not open on some phones. The app clears out old data in the background to save space, and it was removing a little too much. On a phone where that happened, opening PearList gave a black screen, or a black screen with a spinner that never stopped. Restarting the phone did not help, and neither did clearing the app's cache. This is fixed, so it cannot happen again.
  • If a space still will not open, PearList now tells you and offers to fix it. Before, a space it could not open looked like a space with nothing in it, which is alarming and easy to misread as your lists having been deleted. It now says what happened and what to do about it. Your lists were never deleted.
  • The app no longer sits on a spinner with nothing to say. If the part of PearList that holds your lists fails to start, you get a screen explaining that, with a button to copy the details so you can send them to us.

New Features

  • Rebuild a space from another phone in your household. If a space on this phone will not open, PearList offers to copy the lists back from someone else's phone. Open PearList on their phone, leave it on screen, and tap Rebuild. It tries a plain retry first, since a space is sometimes just slow to open and that is usually all it needs.

Improvements

  • Tapping a reminder takes you to the item. It used to open the right list and leave you to find the thing you were reminded about, which on a long shopping list is most of the point of the reminder. Now it scrolls to the item and highlights it. If someone has already ticked it off or deleted it, the list still opens and a message says why nothing is highlighted.

v1.0.9

Choose a tag to compare

@peerloomllc peerloomllc released this 02 Sep 16:28

What's Changed

New Features

  • Add an item straight into a section. Every section heading on a list now has a "+". Tap it and whatever you type goes into that section, instead of the app deciding where it belongs and you having to drag it back. Tap the tag above the keyboard to change your mind.
