@dstogov this didn't generate much interest, can we know the current status of this idea ? I'm not even sure if this is still applicable actually ... if you consider this abandoned (or superseded) please close this PR. If not, can we poke some reviewers ... |

Another solution, without BC breaks, was merged into PHP-7.0. |
