When is the next version released

Yeah I understand, by the way there is barely "no" difference with the next released version expect the changes that will be merged into 5.2 before the release is done

Thank you but I hope you can release at least that version official for everyone, it's long time also, many people don't know snapshot or github, they just install automatic by commands!

This issues are "blocking" the release (https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/milestone/273):

• "Export SQL" generates invalid SQL if a view contains "order by desc" #17431, Default to "Full texts" when running ANALYZE #17482 and other parser issues will need a sql-parser release
• 'Add Parameter' button not working for Add Routine Screen.  #17833 (could be skipped but is problematic for some users)
• 2FA U2F FIDO - U2F API deprecating soon  #17229 (⚠️ No newer Chrome versions can 2FA U2F login, the JS code is broken)
• Add INDEX is not working #17877 (skipped, no longer can be reproduced)
• "Delete" button not asking for confirmation - deleting a row #17535 (⚠️ user can delete a row without confirmation) (confirmed but skipped for risky rating of the changes required)
• Datepicker appear on all fields, not just date #17703 (showing the date picker when not needed is not very cool)
• Years are seen wrong by date picker #17778 (can be skipped, another date picker one) (skipped: for next release)
• New Table -> VIRTUAL attribute is lost when adding new column #17340 (some data loss on a structure action, not many users should be affected)
• Unable to create a view from tree view button #17944
• Another parser release for Notice in ./vendor/phpmyadmin/sql-parser/src/Parser.php#483 sql-parser#413 (comment) ?
• Deprecation message for U2F (3fc35e6)

As I added into the TODO list sql-parser will need a new release, this is why I pushed 9a84527 to start testing the changes before the release

I do not have the knowledge to do this, and I described "unzip and edit the config file" as build.
Sorry for the confusion with the confusing wording.
I always update phpMyAdmin this way.

And the next task to be done by you is to release sql-parser. I think that one day after that we can declare phpMyAdmin ready for a release.

To the known bugs in the release mail we should document the 2FA key issue: #17229

I'm in the process of releasing version 5.2.1 right now, so it will be available as soon as it propagates across our CDN.
