Make get_files() ignore hidden files and directories

Ignore dot files and dot directories (so using svn don't break the site horribly)

jbluezen: I left the original there because I thought it was clearer what it was doing. Ignore directories. and .., and all files that begin with .
They can change it if they wish when they merge it.
