I’d like to save links to T3 Code threads in notes and task lists, then use those links to reopen the exact thread in the desktop app.
Would maintainers approve adding Copy → Deep link to the desktop thread menus?
Proposed scope:
Available from the chat header and sidebar, including the legacy sidebar.
Copies t3code://threads/<environmentId>/<threadId> using the selected thread’s environment and ID.
Reuses existing native-link handling and clipboard behavior.
Available for persisted threads, including read-only connections and cached offline threads.
Desktop only; excluded from web, mobile, and unsent drafts.
Opening the link would require a compatible installed app with a configured connection and access to the thread. The link would contain no credentials and grant no access.
I have a small local implementation with focused tests, but haven’t opened a PR. If this direction and scope are approved, I’ll include before/after screenshots and desktop link-opening verification with the submission.
Is this a workflow you would accept a focused PR for?
