v0.52.3 - Dialogs answer only the keys meant for them (2026-10-15)

E.confirm, E.prompt and E.alert no longer act on the key press that opened them. A dialog opened from a keydown handler - Enter on a list row whose action asks "Throw away the changes?" - used to receive that same Enter as it bubbled to the document and answer OK on the user's behalf. A dialog now starts listening only once the opening event has finished, and a held key's auto-repeat is ignored until it is pressed afresh. Enter on a focused dialog button does what that button says (Enter on Cancel used to confirm). New option danger: true on E.confirm styles OK as a danger button and starts focus on Cancel; the default focus is unchanged.

Escape now closes only the top-most layer. A confirm or prompt opened over a slideover takes the Escape for itself, so the slideover stays open behind it (a dialog with keyboard: false still keeps Escape from the layers beneath). With slideovers stacked, one Escape closes the top one only; a top slideover with closeOnEscape: false keeps the ones beneath open too. A top slideover opened with keyboard: false or closeOnEscape: false now keeps the panels beneath it open on Escape (before, they closed). A destructive confirm (danger: true) answers Enter only through a focused button. Clicks are unchanged. A dialog opened after the page body was replaced now appears instead of going into a detached container.
