@pipelex/sdk on npm

Added

  • The method version of each file use's run: FileUse, each use in the page getFile answers, gains method_version, the published version number its run ran or "draft" for a run of the draft, so a client tells a run of a published version from a run of the draft without reading any run; it is null on an example's use, on a run of an inline source and on a use recorded before the platform carried it, and getFile reads a use answered without it, by a platform that predates it, or with anything but an integer or "draft", as null too (docs/files.md).

Changed

  • The .mthds check hook's lint engine moves to @pipelex/tools-wasm 0.6.1: the bundle built by npm run build:hook now embeds @pipelex/tools-wasm 0.6.1, a dependency refresh whose engine is built past its dependencies' security advisories and loads its WebAssembly through @wasm-tool/rollup-plugin-rust 3; its MTHDS schema and its API are those of 0.6.0, so the hook blocks and passes the same forms as before. The published package is unchanged, since the engine is a development dependency.

pipelex-sdk on PyPI

Added

  • The method version of each file use's run: FileUse, each use in the page get_file answers, gains method_version, the published version number its run ran or "draft" for a run of the draft, so a client tells a run of a published version from a run of the draft without reading any run; it is None on an example's use, on a run of an inline source and on a use recorded before the platform carried it, and a use answered without it, by a platform that predates it, or with anything but an integer or "draft", which is never coerced, reads as None and still validates (docs/files.md).

Changed

  • A method version is never coerced (Breaking): every field naming a method version takes only an integer, with "draft" and None where the field allows them, where a boolean, a numeric string or a float was coerced into a version (True read as 1, "3" as 3): the method_version of FileOrigin, PipelexRunResultStart, PipelexExecuteResult, RunPublic, RunRead, RunHistoryItem and PipelineRun, which RunDetail inherits, MethodVersionSummary.version, the latest_version of MethodData and MethodSummary, and ParsedMethodSelector.version. An answer carrying such a value is now one the SDK cannot read (client.response_unreadable).

Fixed

  • A file use's created_by that is not a string reads as None: FileUse.created_by reads a member of another type as None, as @pipelex/sdk reads it, where it failed the whole get_file answer as one the SDK cannot read.
