Minor Changes

We've made significant changes to improve compatibility and flexibility with your existing projects.

  • We've stopped shipping Tailwind's global preflight in @repo/ui/style.css, which means you'll need to add your own preflight or set your own body colors if you relied on this for a CSS reset.
  • We've updated the @layer base to only include color defaults for border-color and outline-color, which should help restore design tokens for bare border and outline utilities.

Patch Changes

We've fixed several issues to improve performance and user experience:

  • We've replaced the imperative stack renderer in Modal and Toast with useSyncExternalStore to prevent silently dropped updates and tearing under concurrent rendering.
  • We've replaced manual ref-merge in Marquees with useMergedRef to fix per-render new-function-identity churn and detach/reattach issues.
  • We've extracted duplicated pause-on-hover state/handlers into a shared usePauseOnHover hook, adding onFocus and onBlur support for keyboard-focused users.
  • We've replaced the deprecated useThrottle alias with useThrottledValue in Marquees for internal cleanup.
  • We've fixed Switch label text contrast against its track background by making the label color conditional on checked state.
