Initial release of the Placements.io SDK.

  • Asynchronous API calls run faster compared to synchronous ones (i.e. via Requests
  • Repository has examples that can be run from the command line, or referred to as reference when building your own python code
  • In the update() calls, the attributes and relationships parameters can be provided with a dictionary of the values or a function to pre-process the calls before they are made
  • Simplifies authentication process whether using OAuth or normal token authentication
  • Helps handle the batching of API calls and retries
  • Specific functions for the Report service to support loading of data back into python through a streaming API request. This enables the data to be easily loaded into packages like Pandas without downloading the report file to disk
