Plasm v0.5.5 improves typed-value preservation, execution provenance, validation diagnostics and discovery uncertainty, and moves core and SaaS builds to a shared Bazel graph.
Runtime and language fixes
- Preserve typed values through catalog and computed-result materialization, including checked Node publication.
- Retain input provenance, completed effects and original failures across bounded execution and recovery.
- Report actionable scalar-extraction and argument-validation errors without executing rejected calls.
- Preserve discovery uncertainty across Rust and TypeScript, and make incomplete result delivery explicit.
Build and platform changes
- Standalone core and SaaS consume the pinned Bazel graph; Rust suites run through nextest.
- Local development and CI reuse artifacts through Bazel's content-addressed disk cache.
- Binary archives and npm packages use declared build outputs and the published Monty fork.
- Supported binary platforms are macOS Apple Silicon and Linux x86-64 GNU. Intel macOS artifacts are discontinued.
Installation and source builds
Use the installation guide or the platform archives attached below. Verify archive hashes against SHA256SUMS.
The catalog-embedding-inputs-v0.5.5.tgz asset contains precomputed vectors for catalog packaging. Source builds verify its pinned SHA-256 before use; no embedding API calls are needed. See the Bazel build guide for preparation and build commands.
