What is this?

Examples of Use

Executing a Backup

$ datasync dump -m "feature_test"
✔️ mysql dump completed (database: sample)
✔︎ compress data completed.

Listing Backups

$ datasync ls -a

Applying a Backup

Sending a Backup to the Cloud

$ datasync push

Retrieving a Backup from the Cloud

Installation

DataSync is a standalone single-file binary. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Download the latest DataSync from the Releases page.
  2. Save the downloaded file to any location.
  3. Move to the location where you saved the file from the command line, and run the following command to initialize DataSync:
datasync init

Now, you are ready to go!
