7.3.2 UI/UX Fixes

Account:

• Feature: A captcha is now displayed on the password reset page upon a second attempt.
• Patch: In company settings, the logo preview is now updated immediately.

Infrastructure:

• Patch: The Python version was upgraded to 3.9.
• Patch: The backend and file service now use one PostgreSQL container with two databases instead of two separate containers.
• Patch: Network error monitoring was optimized: when an internet connection drops, multiple concurrent failed API requests are grouped into a single consolidated report listing all affected endpoints, drastically reducing monitoring noise.
• Patch: The Core and Files OpenAPI docs were merged into a single Scalar UI.

Fieldsets:

• Feature: The option to set a default title was added on the fieldset details catalog page , as well as the option to edit it individually for each fieldset instance within template editor steps. An info icon tooltip was added to display fieldset title and description details.
• Feature: A Clone fieldset function was introduced. In the catalog (card menu) and on the detail page (Modify menu), a Clone button was added that creates a copy of the fieldset and takes the user to the clone's page.
• Feature: The option was added to bind the same fieldset multiple times to a template's kickoff form and task output forms.
• Patch: Fieldset data loss on template save was fixed. The frontend now sends the full fieldset object (including fields, rules, layout) to the backend and stores the backend response fieldsets in state, preventing variable desynchronization.
• Patch: On the fieldset edit page, the three separate Save buttons (fields / rules / settings) were replaced with a single Save for all changes. Fieldset rules are now validated before saving; leaving the page with unsaved changes triggers a confirmation dialog. On save failure, the on-screen draft is no longer wiped by reloading the fieldset.
• Patch: An informational banner was added to the fieldset details page displaying template bindings, with a collapsible template list and search via a custom FilterSelect component.
• Patch: When bound to templates, the fieldset details page is now fully locked: all text fields, options (checkbox, radio, dropdown), add/delete buttons, and rules are displayed in read-only mode with full text content and original field type icons.
• Patch: The "Edit" and "Delete" buttons are now disabled with a tooltip explaining the reason: in the card action menus on the fieldsets list page (/fieldsets) and in the details page header (/fieldsets/:id).
• Patch: Tooltips were added for long template names in the usage banner and for fieldset option dropdowns in the template editor.
• Patch: A "Save" button was added to the unsaved changes modal that awaits the API response before navigating away.

Notifications:

• Patch: Invitation emails are now sent for every configured email backend.
• Patch: The API docs link was fixed in the email notification footer.

Tasks:

• Patch: Tasks with "Require completion by all" now correctly require every active member of an assigned group to complete the task individually.
• Patch: A bug was fixed where, when the workflow starter became a substitute for a vacationing/away-on-sick-leave user, tasks with "skip for starter" were not being skipped and were instead delegated to them. These tasks are now correctly skipped.
• Patch: Task output fields now appear in the same order as in the template.
• Patch: Unsaved values are no longer lost after a page reload, when switching tasks, or when completing a task right after typing.
• Patch: A cleared field now stays empty instead of reverting to its old value. A removed file no longer reappears.
• Patch: If another user changes a field on the server, only that field's local draft is discarded. Drafts of the other fields are preserved.
• Patch: Returning or restarting a task now clears its unsaved values.
• Patch: Several files can now be uploaded at once without any of them being lost.
• Patch: Corrupted locally saved drafts no longer break the task card.
• Patch: Highlights now display outputs that contain only a file, as well as fieldset fields.
• Patch: The Tasks page now opens with newest tasks first, instead of oldest first by default.

Workflows:

• Feature: Users can now fetch their view/edit permissions for a list of objects in a single request. The object permissions API was connected on the frontend. Process controls are now shown or hidden based on the signed-in user's actual permissions for each workflow.
• Patch: An error was fixed that occurred when saving/editing a workflow kickoff form — if previously filled Checkbox field values were not modified by the user.
• Patch: The loss of fieldsets during workflow cloning was fixed.
