The first release of Inkwell for the jailbroken Kindle Paperwhite 3.

Install

  1. Unzip Inkwell-1.0.0.zip and copy its linux and documents folders to the top of the Kindle's drive.
  2. Eject the Kindle, open the library and tap Inkwell: install.

The Kindle reboots into Inkwell. The README has the details, how to go back to the normal Kindle and what to do if something goes wrong.

Files

  • Inkwell-1.0.0.zip holds the system image, the boot script, the install scriptlets and Quill's quick model.
  • smollm2-360m-q4_0.gguf is Quill's optional smart model. Put it in linux/models on the Kindle's drive to use it.
  • SHA256SUMS lists the checksums of both files.
