LadderIDE 1.4.0
LadderIDE 1.4.0 — first public release. One installer, two modes: it runs as Sim (free, offline simulator) without a key; a Pro key unlocks Arduino code generation and upload to the board. Pro purchase opens shortly at https://praxous.dev/downloads — a small update will follow to enable activation.
Download: LadderIDE-Setup.exe below (80 MB; Windows 10/11, 64-bit; per-user install, no admin needed).
Windows SmartScreen: this release is not yet code-signed, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" the first time you run the setup. Click More info, then Run anyway. Signing is in progress.
What's in Sim
- Ladder canvas with named, typed tags (Logix-style): contacts, coils, one-shots, timers, counters, compare, math, CPT, SCP, PID, COP/CPS, convert, sequencers, bit shift, FIFO/LIFO, motion axes
- Reusable MBS logic blocks and UDS struct types (portable
.mbs/.udsfiles) - Offline simulator with force, toggle and trend recording
- Catalog of devices and shields: I2C sensors, DAC/PWM outputs, Ethernet, serial buses
- Help ▸ Quick Start and a teaching series of example projects
What Pro adds
- Arduino sketch generation, compile and upload with the bundled arduino-cli (Uno/Nano/Mega board support included, offline)
- Get Online: live values on the rungs over serial
- EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP server + client, Modbus RTU and DF1 masters (MSG), bench-verified against a MicroLogix 1100, a 1769-L23E and a CLICK PLC
