Step 2: Initialize a Git Repository **Open Terminal or Command Prompt: Navigate to your project directory: cd /path/to/BillingApp
**Initialize Git: Initialize a new Git repository: git init
**Add Files to the Repository: Add all your files to the repository: git add .
**Commit Your Changes: Commit the files with a message: git commit -m "Initial commit of Billing App"
Step 3: Create a New Repository on GitHub Go to GitHub: Open your browser and go to GitHub.
Create a New Repository:
Click on the + icon in the upper-right corner and select New repository. Name your repository (e.g., BillingApp). Add a description (optional). Choose the repository visibility (public or private). Do not initialize with a README, .gitignore, or license (since you already have these locally). Click Create repository.
Step 4: Push Your Local Repository to GitHub **Copy the Remote URL: After creating the repository, GitHub will provide you with a URL. Copy this URL.
**Add the Remote Repository: In your terminal, add the remote repository: git remote add origin https://github.com/yourusername/BillingApp.git
**Push Your Changes: Push your local repository to GitHub: git push -u origin master
Usage Access the application at http://localhost:3000 for the frontend and http://localhost:5000 for the backend.
