First public release of MacMonitor: MCP for your Mac hardware. Works with Claude and Codex.

Download: MacMonitor-1.0.0.zip below. Apple Silicon, macOS 15 or newer.

First open: the app is not signed with an Apple Developer ID yet, so macOS says "Apple could not verify MacMonitor". Click Done, then either:

  • System Settings > Privacy & Security > "MacMonitor was blocked" > Open Anyway, or
  • run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/MacMonitor.app in Terminal.

Connect an AI agent:

claude mcp add -s user macmonitor -- /Applications/MacMonitor.app/Contents/MacOS/macmonitor-mcp
codex mcp add macmonitor -- /Applications/MacMonitor.app/Contents/MacOS/macmonitor-mcp
