Probitas 2 runs on Bun and ships as a single probitas binary: Deno is no longer needed to run scenarios.

  • Install: curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/probitas-test/probitas/main/install.sh | sh, brew install probitas-test/tap/probitas, probitas-test/setup-probitas@v2, or the Nix flake (overlays.default / packages.default).
  • Library: @probitas-test/probitas on npm, @probitas/probitas on JSR.
  • Scenarios: most run unchanged, and the 1.x jsr:@probitas/probitas imports still resolve. Third-party modules are installed next to your scenarios with a package manager, and Deno.* APIs are replaced by their Node.js equivalents.
  • Commands: probitas fmt (same output as 1.x), probitas lint (Biome's recommended rules) and probitas check (bun check) work with nothing else installed. Deno KV support is removed.

See MIGRATION.md for everything that changes. Stay on 1.x with PROBITAS_VERSION=1.0.0 for install.sh or probitas-test/setup-probitas@v1.
