Difftray v0.0.17
Improved
- Make agent setup a single step: the Agents settings section is now Install the
skill, a successful install checks the agent connection straight away, and the
optional terminal command-line tool sits in a collapsed Terminal (optional)
section.
Difftray v0.0.16
Added
- Let local coding agents read a review and write feedback through the bundled
difftrayCLI and agent skills, installed and repaired from a new Agents
settings page. - Show which agent wrote or last edited a comment on desktop and on paired phones.
- Give worktrees display names, editable in the app, through the CLI and from
paired phones. - Show the scanned folder's results in the repository picker after Scan a folder.
Improved
- Draw buttons, fields, menus, segmented controls, cards and icons from one shared
style, with one focus ring and WCAG AA contrast for secondary text. - Group settings into panels with real switches.
- Use the file-state vocabulary shared with the phone in the file list and command
palette, and show review progress in the file list header. - Stack toasts, keep the end of long file names visible, and honour Reduce Motion
everywhere. - Size inline comments with the diff font setting.
Fixed
- Stop stretching small images in the image diff and drop misleading binary stats.
- Run the command palette row that is highlighted on screen.
Difftray v0.0.15
What's new
- Add file comments and one dismissible review note per change on desktop; paired phones on a matching version see and edit them too.
- The copied agent report now names the reviewed change and feedback scopes.
- The repository drop overlay now closes reliably after detached or cancelled drags.
- Focus and comment saves stay reliable when a reload overtakes an edit.
- Diff summary reloads reuse committed blob fingerprints.
Difftray v0.0.14
What's new
- Draft multiline comments anchored to a range of diff lines on desktop.
- See code previews for comment drafts and the selected commit subject in the target list.
- Recover companion connections more reliably after server restarts, network changes, and discovery failures.
- Improved diff text contrast and file change counts.
- The development build is now called Difftray Alpha.
Difftray v0.0.13
Added
- Open and search repositories from a durable Quick Open catalog, with approved
search folders, background discovery, drag-and-drop batch preview, and explicit
close-versus-forget behavior. - Discover and open linked Git worktrees from desktop or a paired mobile device.
- Paired mobile devices can search and open approved catalog entries individually
without sending arbitrary filesystem paths.
Improved
- Preserve project and workspace response compatibility for already-shipped mobile
clients while allowing newer clients to opt into structured worktree identity.
Difftray v0.0.12
Improved
- Companion project lists now stay responsive when one repository is slow to load, with review progress filled in as it becomes available.
- Already-released mobile clients reliably refresh companion project summaries after reconnecting.
Difftray v0.0.11
Improved
- Difftray Companion is now available on iOS. Get it from the App Store or Google Play directly from Difftray’s Companion settings or the website.
Difftray v0.0.10
Difftray Companion is here
Pair your phone with Difftray and take the review with you: browse changed
files, read diffs, mark them reviewed, leave line-level comments, and copy a
ready-made prompt back to your agent.
Available on Google Play — iOS is coming soon.
Turn it on in Settings → Companion, then use Pair new device to show a QR
code. Pairing confirms a key fingerprint on both screens, and each paired phone
can be revoked individually. Companion stays off until you enable it.
Phones connect over your local network out of the box, or from anywhere with
both devices signed into Tailscale. Nothing leaves your machine.
Improved
- Revoking a device now disconnects the phone immediately instead of on its next
request. - Companion discovery survives transient Bonjour network errors.
- Difftray Dev keeps its own storage, so debug builds no longer share companion
devices and credentials with the production app. - Fixed scrolling in the settings panel and the review overlay.
Difftray v0.0.9
Improved
- Improved app reliability and compatibility.
Difftray v0.0.8
Improved compatibility with Difftray mobile.
