  • readm3 edit . (also readm3 subl, readm3 open) opens files and folders in the desktop editor and returns, like subl ..
  • Desktop downloads for macOS (Apple silicon and Intel dmg, ad-hoc signed: right-click → Open the first time) and Windows (per-user installer, unsigned: SmartScreen → More info → Run anyway), beside the Linux AppImage and Flatpak.
  • The desktop app opens folders from the command line; a second launch resolves paths from its own directory.
  • Fix: after Ctrl+S the desktop editor could revert to the pre-save text within 5 seconds, and it never saw outside changes. It now re-reads the file from disk.
  • Opening a file or folder again refreshes copies that match disk instead of adding "(2)" duplicates; unsaved drafts are kept.
