Windows Hyper-V appliance — a new deployment target. A prebuilt, sealed Ubuntu VM image (Packer-built, boot-tested in CI) that boots to a console wizard — keyboard, admin password, network — via achilles-installer firstboot, with a login menu, console banner, and root-filesystem auto-grow. Import-Achilles.ps1 verifies the download against its published checksum and imports, creates and starts the VM on a Hyper-V host. Each release's image is published to Cloudflare R2, with appliance-SHA256SUMS and Import-Achilles.ps1 attached to the GitHub release. User guide: Deployment → Appliance.
EDR-killed agent runs count as protected. When a connected EDR terminates a test mid-execution, that run is recorded as a whole-test Protected result (reconciled after each EDR sync), scored in its bundle pair and chain depth, kept out of technique-coverage views, shown in the UI as protected with stages unknown, and reflected in campaigns and Finished emails. Implemented across the backend, analytics, frontend, reports, and the serverless fork.
Fixed
Analytics were empty on a fresh install. The results index is now created with its field mapping, so aggregations (defense scores, heatmaps, treemaps) work on a brand-new deployment. (#605)
A stage an EDR blocked with an error code is credited as prevented/detected rather than counted as an error. (#606)
Numerous appliance and installer robustness fixes: sealed-image verification fails closed, first-boot draws reliably on tty1 and recovers without DHCP, restore works onto a server that was never installed, and the image version is stamped from platform tags only.
