  • Added optional zippath keyword parameter to Table.csv_import, Table.tsv_import, and Table.json_import, to designate a specific file inside a source zip archive containing the CSV or TSV data to import. Added example time_zone_db.py showing how to access CSV files within a zip archive.

  • Added limit parameter to Table.json_import() to limit the number of records imported.

  • Table.json_import() and Table.json_export() default to streaming=True when called with a file name or Path with ".jsonl" extension.

  • Fixed bug when passing a (name, field_spec) tuple to Table.present().

  • Modified dune_casts.py to illustrate the use of (name, field_spec) fields for the Table.present() method call.

  • A new example, area_codes.py, shows how to import raw JSON from a Github repository, and gives a little history on US area codes.
