Example code of K8S helm chart code with Spring boot

Install docker desktop on windows 10 first

Install choco using following tutorial https://chocolatey.org/install

Install helm chart on windows 10 and docker desktop

choco install kubernetes-helm

Change helm chart as per your project

helm create k8s-helm-chart

Verify chart is working fine..

helm lint ./k8s-helm-chart

Build docker image which is used in helm chart

docker build -t helmchart:v1 .

Some helpful command for deploy helm chart and check in docker desktop

helm get -h
helm install --name-template helmchart-springboot -f ./k8s-helm-chart/values.yaml ./k8s-helm-chart/
helm ls --all
helm upgrade helmchart-springboot ./k8s-helm-chart
helm rollback helmchart-springboot 1
helm uninstall helmchart-springboot
helm package ./k8s-helm-chart
helm status k8s-helm-chart

Add Best helm chart plugin

helm repo add bitnami https://charts.bitnami.com/bitnami
helm repo list
helm search hub mysql
