Reasons for the request

The project on pypi seems to be claimed but unpublished

We have been maintaining a set of standard tests for the langchain project: https://github.com/langchain-ai/langchain/tree/master/libs/standard-tests

Historically we've just encouraged installing from git because they've been used internally.

We're in the process of starting to publish them to pypi for proper versioning/installing for external developers, but it seems someone has claimed the name on pypi.org :(

Contact and additional research

I tried identifying who currently owns the name to no avail because it hasn't been published yet. I assume someone registered a trusted publisher without using it? It's possible it was someone on our team.

We are working to contact the owner to determine if they're reachable and have sent them a courtesy message.

Final determination regarding project ownership will be made by the PyPI Administrators when the research process is complete.

langchain-standard-tests has been deemed invalid. Additionally, the owner did not respond back regarding the status of their project.

I recommend that the PyPI Admins release the name for future use.
