About the project

PyMeshLab is a Python library that interfaces to MeshLab, the popular open source application for editing and processing large 3D triangle meshes. Python bindings are generated using pybind11.

Reasons for the request

The last release increased a bit the size of the package for some OS/architectures.

Currently blocked by this. I have to keep a down-pinned version of pymeshlab instead.

I'd like to use the 2025.7 version on linux X86-64. We have a cross platform development and really need to get this version to run on cloud runners.

Our team is upgrading to Python 3.12 and MeshLab 2025.7, but we're blocked because the Linux x86-64 wheel for pyMeshlab isn't on PyPI. Raising the limit to 200 MB would quickly unblock us and many others running on cloud environments
