About the project

This is a new project. It is for including neural network based constitutive models in a finite element solver for solid mechanics problems. The size of the project will likely not increase significantly in the near future.

How large is each release?

~180 MB

1 Linux wheel at 108MB due to libdeal_II.so binary
1 tarball at 54MB

I have reduced the package size by not including *.so files that can be obtained by installing packages from PyPi such as libtorch.so, libgmsh.so, libpetsc.so, etc.

How frequently do you make a release?

Roughly once every 6 months
