Orbit Git 0.15.0 is a stable release for VS Code, Cursor and Qoder.

  • Use Orbit Git menus, command categories and status-bar entries with publisher PRCooper and extension ID PRCooper.orbit-git.
  • Browse commit graphs, branch comparisons, Stash file trees, selection/file history and ten live module controls.
  • Use native history popups on local macOS, with editor tabs on other platforms, remote workspaces or an initial popup failure.
  • Publish verified build artifacts by ID and use a distribution icon within Marketplace file-size and dimension limits.

Install from VS Code Marketplace, or download orbit-git-0.15.0.vsix and use Install from VSIX…, then reload the editor. Uninstall old local-tools.git-workbench or cpr117.orbit-git previews first to avoid duplicate commands. Existing gitWorkbench.* settings remain compatible.

orbit-git-0.15.0-source.zip contains the exact release commit and the open-source guide. The VSIX excludes the guide, development sources and tests. Verify both downloads with SHA256SUMS.

Core macOS editor flows have been checked; Windows, Linux and remote-host flows have not yet received independent real-editor acceptance. The macOS helper is ad-hoc signed and is not notarized.

Validation: all 160 automated tests passed in the release build; dependency audit reported zero vulnerabilities.
