Creating Characters

The character creators can be accessed by the navigation bar along the left hand side of the app. These tool are used to create player characters. There are two different mechanisms for creating player characters.

Lifepath Creation

The player character Lifepath creation tool steps players through the process of creating a player character by walking them through the different stages of that character's life. Navigate between the steps of the character creator using the 'Back' and 'Next' buttons running along the bottom of each page. Please fill out all fields for each step before continuing to the next step. Additionally, while you can use the 'Back' button to return to the first step of the creator, it is better to navigate to a different page and then back to the character creator to completely reset the state of the character creator.

The first stage of the Lifepath creator is the source selector, this selector will enable to disable character creation options from various official and unofficial source books. Click here for more information on the source selector.

This tool can be accessed in the navigation menu under Create > Player Character > Lifepath Creation

Random Generation

The random player character tool will randomly create a player character using some minimal configuration options. This tool is intended for use with Players who do not want to go through the Lifepath creation tool, or for Game-Masters who quickly need to spin up a new important NPC but don't have the time to go through Lifepath creation.

The random generator employees a the source selector, this selector will enable to disable character creation options from various official and unofficial source books. Adding more sources will allow more options for the random generator to consider. Click here for more information on the source selector.
