Source Selection

Many different tools on the TrekSharp app will require the users to select which sourcebooks are to be used. By default the only source that will be selected is the "Core" rulebook source. This source cannot be deselected. However, the other source books are optional. Clicking a source will toggle it between being enabled or disabled. When a source is enabled it will be orange and when it is disabled then it will be purple.

To speed up the process of selecting sources, All and None buttons are included at the top right of the source selector. These buttons will automatically enable all sources, or disable all sources except to the "Core" rulebook.

Sourcebook Data

Sources are containers of options for various purposes. These options could include additional spaceframes for player vessels, species and traits for character creation, or even new kinds of NPC templates.

Types of Source

Official Sources

Official sources are those that are officially published by Modiphius.

Unofficial Sources

Unofficial sources are those created specifically for this app, or are created by the community.

Homebrew Source

The Homebrew source is a special unofficial source which contains all of the homebrewed data that is created via the tools available within the GM view.
