Introduction

Qtechnology provides Modular Industrial cameras with a complete Open Source stack.

Modular

Our cameras are divided in two main components.

  • Head
  • Body

The head contains the imaging sensor and the lens mount

The body contains all the computing elements: FPGA, APU and (an optional) discrete GPU.

Industrial

Our cameras have been designed to work under tough conditions:

  • Newtec use our cameras 24 hours a day and 365 days per year to grade vegetables at a rate of 40 tons per hour.
  • Or to do some basic science with our hyperspectral sensors, Check out this or this article for some examples.

Complete Open Source

All the high performance computing capabilities of our cameras can be accessed via standard interfaces such as Video4Linux or Opencl.

At Qtechnology we also provide a reference distribution based on OpenEmbedded that let you do Computer Vision Development in an easy and powerful way.
